Another shot in the same series as this one - featuring UKSF operators in Basra, 2003, thought to be Special Boat Service personnel. Note the Trijicon ACOG optics fitted to the men's C8 SFW carbines. The ACOG is a day/night scope with a 1.5-10x magnigication (depending on model). The pistols housed in the operator's thigh-strap holsters are most likely sig sauer p226 9mms.
