42 Commando

42 Commando (pronounced 'Four Two Commando') is battalion-sized component of 3 Commando Brigade. 42 Commando is based at Bickleigh Barracks near Plymouth, Devon.

42 Commando Organisation

42 Commando, like 40 and 45, is structured along 'Commando 21' lines :

  • Command Company
  • Logistics Company
  • Juliet Company (J Coy) (Close Combat Company)
  • Kilo Company (K Coy) (Stand Off Company)
  • Lima Company (L Coy) (Close Combat Company)
  • Mike Company (M Coy) (Stand Off Company)
