Royal Marines - HMS Albion - video


The Guardian website has pusblished a video featuring Royal Marines aboard HMS Albion operating Viking APCs during amphibious warfare training. HMS Albion is a Landing Platform Dock (LPD) which can act as both a command and control center and an amphibious warfare platform. It can deploy Royal Marines and other forces, including vehicles up to the size of Challenger II tanks, via LCU and LCVP landing craft.
