Dauphin helicopter

An Airbus Helicopters AS365 Dauphin helicopter operated by 658 Squadron, Army Air Corps (AAC), pictured at AAC Middle Wallop, 2015.

658 Sqn fly the Dauphin in support of the 22nd Special Air Service Regiment (22 SAS). Roles include covert transport and counter terrorism. When fitted with a roping frame, the Dauphin can deploy troops via fast-rope or abseil line from port and/or starboard cabin doors.
