RAF Merlin HC3a

A Merlin HC3a helicopter of 78 Squadron RAF.Due to a shortage of available Chinook HC2/2a helicopters from 7 Sqn Special Forces flight, Merlins from 78 Sqn have reportedly been assigned to the special operations role. 78 Sqn are based at RAF Benson, South Oxfordshire, along with the RAF's other Merlin unit, 28 Sqn.
