Pathfinders Combat Footage

Montage of various footage featuring (mostly) elite Pathfinders from the Parachute Regiment battling Taliban forces in Afghanistan, 2006. This excellent clip features a wide selection of weaponry being fired - everything from hand-held 51mm mortars to Milan anti-tank missiles. There are also some great scenes of Pathfinders aboard WMIK Land Rovers, out on patrol as well as protecting a landing zone (LZ) for incoming Chinook transport helicopters. You may notice that some of the Pathfinders are sporting long beards. This isn't due to lack of razors in the field but rather a move to earn the respect of the local population, who associate facial hair with masculinity.
