Royal Marines Photos - Snipers

photo category: royal marines
Royal Marines snipers armed with L115A1 Sniper rifles. Before the British Army developed its own sniper cadre, the Royal Marines trained many other UK military snipers, including members of the Special Air Service. Royal Marines sniper training takes place at Commando Training Centre Royal Marines (CTCRM) at Lympstone, Devon. In January 2007, a Royal Marine from 45 Commando took out a Taliban leader from over 1000 meters away, using a L115 AWM.
