Signals Troop - 40 Commando Royal Marines

Royal Marines with 40 Commando's Signals Troop test a PC-117F TACSAT radio before goig out on a patrol in Helmand Province, Afghanistan. Signals Troop is an element of a Commando's Command Company. The troop enables comms for the Commando's HQ. It also deploys Company Signals Detachments which enable comms at the company level. Royal Marines in Signals Troop will have completed signals specialisation training.
