Land Rovers from 2/1 Battery, 16 Air Assault Brigade
as seen during Operation Telic, the UK's name for the invasion of Iraq, 2003. These land rovers are configured for long range reconnaissance. Note the bergens strapped to the vehicle's front. These can be quickly grabbed if the occupants have to make a run for it on foot. When in a laying up position (LUP), the camo nets tied up along the land rover's roll bars can be unfurled to completely cover the vehicle.
