SAS and/or SFSG troopers pictured in Iraq. Note the suppressors fitted to soldier's C8 carbines Also, note the sig sauer p226/p228s in cross-chest holsters. The C8s are fitted with AN/PEQ-2 infra red pointers/illuminators. These devices produce 2 infrared laser beams that are only visible when wearing Night Vision Goggles (NVGs). One narrow-focused beam is used to aim the weapon, the other wide-focused beam is used as an illumination beam.
