Royal Marines Anti-Tank Troop

photo category: royal marines
AT Troop
Royal Marines fire a Javelin anti-tank missile. The Command Company in 40, 42 and 45 Commando features an Anti-Tank Troop (AT Troop) which consists of 6 Javelin teams. Commandos also have an AT Troop in their Stand-off Companies. . The Javelin replaces the Milan wire-guided missile previouslly used by the Royal Marines. When deployed on the battlefield, a section from an AT Troop may group with sections from other support elements such as the Heavy Machine Gun Troop to form a Manoeuvre Support Group.
